As Vietnam’s expressway network receives increasingly robust investment, the requirements for pavement materials are constantly evolving. While load-bearing capacity and structural longevity were once the primary criteria, modern materials must now meet higher standards regarding traffic safety, resilience to extreme weather, reduced maintenance costs, and sustainable infrastructure development. This is why novel material solutions are attracting significant interest from the scientific community, regulatory bodies, and enterprises within the transportation sector.

Amidst the hectic construction pace at Package J3—the Phuoc Khanh cable-stayed bridge, currently the tallest in Vietnam and part of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project—trucks transporting asphalt concrete are continuously streaming into the site. The roar of pavers and road rollers, blending with the industrious activity of engineers and workers, heralds a new phase in the completion of the section undertaken by BMT E&C, a member of the BMT GROUP ecosystem.

In the context of the construction and building materials industry increasingly strengthening linkages and cooperation to enhance competitiveness and move towards sustainable development, BMT Materials Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company (BMT Materials) has officially become a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA). This is considered an important milestone, opening up many opportunities for connection, cooperation, and partnership with the business community in the industry.

On the morning of June 12, 2026, at the Dong Nai Branch of the BMT Hot Mix Asphalt Plant Complex, BMT organized a thematic workshop on "Standardizing transportation, delivery and compliance with invoices, documents and taxes in the hot mix asphalt supply chain," with the participation of customers, transportation partners and specialized departments of BMT.
