The Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway is one of the most modern and aesthetically impressive expressways in Vietnam. BMT Construction Investment Joint Stock Company was honored to be selected as the main contractor for pavement construction on a section exceeding 70 kilometers, running through Hai Duong Province and Hai Phong City.
The pavement works carried out by BMT included:
PMB III Polymer Asphalt Concrete Course with thickness of 5cm, serving as the primary load-bearing course, enhancing rutting resistance and extending pavement lifespan.
Asphalt Concrete Roughness Course, designed to improve skid resistance and surface friction, ensuring safety at high speeds.
Accounting for 70% of the total polymer asphalt volume across the project, BMT mobilized:
A system of three high-capacity asphalt mixing plants,
Four modern specialized paving equipment lines,

The Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway is the first expressway in Vietnam, playing a strategic role in connecting the Southern Key Economic Region with the Mekong Delta.
BMT Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company was honored to be the designated contractor from the early stage of the project, affirming its capability and reputation in the field of high-standard transportation infrastructure construction.
In addition, BMT was selected to carry out the repair of all pavement damages on the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway. In this project, BMT pioneered the application of VTO (Very Thin Overlay) technology – a new and modern solution replacing the conventional NovaChip method, aiming to strengthen the pavement effectively, reduce costs, and extend service life.

Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway
The Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway is one of Vietnam’s national key infrastructure projects, with a total length of nearly 58 kilometers. It connects the Mekong Delta with the Southeast region without passing through the inner city of Ho Chi Minh City. This expressway plays a strategic role in the inter-regional traffic network and links directly to major transportation axes such as Ring Road 3, Long Thanh International Airport, the HCMC – Trung Luong Expressway, and the HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway.

Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway
The Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway is a vital arterial road stretching over 51 kilometers, passing through five districts of Tien Giang Province. It plays a strategic role in connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta region and significantly easing traffic congestion on National Highway 1A – the busiest roadway in Vietnam.
The project was developed under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model in the form of a BOT contract, with a total construction cost for phase 1 exceeding VND 12,000 billion.
BMT Construction Investment Joint Stock Company is one of the three main investors, contributing over 10% of the total capital. In addition to its investment role, BMT directly executed several major work packages of the project, with a total contract value of over VND 600 billion.
BMT's scope of work includes:

Thu Thiem Tunnel
Thu Thiem Tunnel is a national key infrastructure project, connecting District 1 city center with the Thu Thiem New Urban Area (Thu Duc City) via Mai Chi Tho – Vo Van Kiet Boulevard. This is the first submerged tunnel in Vietnam, applying modern immersed tunnel technology, with a total length of nearly 1.5 km, 6 traffic lanes, and a design speed of 60 km/h.

Phu My Bridge is a large, modern cable-stayed bridge spanning the Saigon River, connecting District 7 with Thu Duc City (formerly District 2). The bridge plays a strategic role in Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No.2, providing direct linkage between industrial zones, Cat Lai Port, and the inter-regional traffic corridors of the Eastern and Western economic zones.
The bridge has a total length of over 2 km, consists of 6 traffic lanes, a design speed of 80 km/h, and a navigational clearance of up to 45 meters, meeting high technical requirements for accommodating heavy transport volumes and large vessels on the river.
